    Hi there,
I have Pcos and have been on metformin for a long time and it doesnt seem to be helping in anyway so i am booked in a month to have a Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy...

Can anyone tell me if once having these minor surgeries they were able to concieve? I was told by my gyno that once i have the surgery it will only work for 6 months but that a lot of people have been able to fall pregnant in first few months... I don't want to get my hopes up to high but can't help it...

Have been trying for a number of years... I have a 14 year old daughter but have not been able to conceive since i had a huge miscarriage in 2001...

Would really love to hear from people that have or are in a similar situation as i have no one to talk to that understands...

    Thanks [IMG]

    Hi Janeman,

I have PCOS but met worked for me--it was all I needed to conceive. You might find more answers at SoulCysters (a PCOS specific forum that has MANY women with experience with the procedures you are having).

    Good luck!
