    Hello everyone,

I have finished my studies, and now have started working, and I’m planning to move out from my parents home. Me and my best friend are planning to shift together. We are thinking of taking a mortgage for this, but since we both have never taken any mortgage, we don’t know much about this. I have heard about credit score, and that it is really important to have a good credit score to get a good mortgage. But again, we both do not know how to calculate this. Got some info from a blog,by Alberta Mortgage about the credit qualification. The three basic qualification criteria for getting a mortgage, ie, down payment, income, and an acceptable credit. Can anyone advice me more on this. How is a credit score calculated ? And what is the minimum score required to get a good mortgage scheme ?
